The Brief:
Shadow of the Colossus. God of War. The most memorable scenes in these
games evoke images of a vast character scale difference that creates a
compelling and over-the-top dramatic feel. Your challenge, should you
choose to accept it, is to design, model, texture and pose a character
whose scale is enourmous, gargantuan, and INSANELY HUGE. Anything goes
as far as subject matter, be it robotic, organic, man-made, monstrous,
animalistic or any creative mix in-between. To clearly convey scale, an
average-sized human should be clearly depicted in the final work.
The Big Huge 3D Challenge
The Constraints:
A maximum of 5000 polys (not including the human figure).
1 1024x1024 diffuse
1 1024x1024 normal
1 1024x1024 transparency
1 1024x1024 specular
1 1024x1024 emissive
For each 1024, you may break it down to 4 512x512. Example:
4 512x512 diffuse
4 512x512 normal
4 512x512 transparency
4 512x512 specular
4 512x512 emissive
A pedestal (not floor) may be included. This pedestal can use unlimited polies and texture sheets but
can contain nothing for your character to pick up and use.
2-sided polies with two separate uv channels are permitted.
Joint entries are prohibited.
Read Submissions for exact specs on submission requirements.

front, side and back view.
A minimum of 5 black & white or single color (example light to dark blue etc) initial rough draft thumbnail
sketches.

You may use your concept sheet(s) created for your 3d entry for this challenge.
The Judges:
