Comiconchallenge help me decide Dredd or Death?

Hi alls im a little stuck ,I was a huge fan of 2000AD comics when I was a kid.
For Comicon I wanted to do Judge Dredd,the only prob is I cant decide if to make Judge Dredd or Judge Death.This will be my first attempt at a super high rez character.So to help me make my mind up I was wondering who you would chose and why that character would be the strongest to enter in the challenge.

I would go with Dredd personally, he just looks like a force to be reckoned with just looking at him. And I think you could add a lot of nice details to the armor to make him stand out.

Also, not sure what you mean by saying this is your first attempt at a "super high rez" character. Unless you're comparing it to PS1 poly counts, 10k is pretty standard in current gen systems for just above low poly. I see most current gen characters revolve around 7k, so I guess if you want to consider 10k "mid-poly", that's fine, but I would never consider it "super high rez". I was just pointing it out though, maybe I took it out of context.

But for real, both characters have quite complicated silhouette, and look attractive. I personally would chose Death(but it is very subjective choice, i am just the "necro is cool" guy.):
1. Judge Dreed, is definietly more well known and recognizable character, and lots of people can relate story to this character and have their own image of judge look and personality, while Death doesn't have those features.
2. As i can see Death lower part of a body is mist. It is again only my personal feel, but making such fx means using alphas, and they relates to various issues you may stumble upon and get discouraged because of it, especially if you want to use marmoset.
3. I think overall judge would be easier to do, and seems more eye-catching than Death.
So if I were you I would go for Judge.
But both characters are interesting so I it is up to you.

Mrpearlzildjian yeh im comparing to old spec and have never done anything over 4k.I guess I should have said super high rez zbrush sculpt to bake to 10k might have been a better explanation.

The death model would have legs so FX would not be an issue.I know what you are saying cos I love death more as a charater thats why I posted this cos sometimes a love of a charter isnt enough.

I'll go for Dread too cause I'm not a comic book guy but I know who is Judge Dread ( thanks (or not) to Stallone :D). So It would be easier for me, and guys in the same case as me to appreciate your reinterpretation of this character.

Judge Dread even had a movie..with Sylvester Stallone.."the law I am the LAw!" Dread and Death are being done on the 2D side. But I like Dread..he is more recognizable..but in the end Shadowmonkey it's up to you.

thanks all to be honest I noticed someone has entered Death in the 2d and I agree that Dredd will prob be the best as has more detail
