Game art generally means anyhting that can be used as an art asset in a game, rather than a film. Generally lower poly models, alot of clever texturing etc.

i can't say it's the best, i'm new to the blogging idea, but lately i've been posting some updates, not sure if this art will end up in any game but it's there

I found CreativeUncut.com to be an awesome resource for game art. It contains a lot of game concept art and illustration but depending on the game there are also plenty of models on display as well.

It’s got over 10,000 images from 247 games and its regularly updated too.

It's not gameart, But he's an awesome Imaginative Realism(his new book is coming out) -Painter Illustrator . James Gurney -Dinotopia series and National Geographic. it's awesome art blog, for artists of all types.
