Decided to commit to Kakashi and Pakkun instead of Hidan :)

Here's the lowpoly with normals applied. I'm at 4986 tris, and still hoping to scrounge up a few more to stick in his belt chain.

Wow, looks really nice.

too bad to did not stick with Hidan, i really liked what you had done.

Something seems off with with his hips and shoulders. his hips seem too small while his shoulders seem too big. maybe its just the angle, or maybe I'm nucking futs but the proportions don't seem quite right there.

oh well, still looking very nice, keep up the good work.

YdoUwant2know - Thanks! The proportions are definitely a bit off compared to a realistic human. It's just more of a stylistic choice that I made. (for better or worse I guess :P)

Yung - Yeah the fingers didn't come out too awesome, they kinda got sacrificed when it came to getting everything in the poly budget.

Here's an update. Base is more or less done. Pose/rig is super wip and the texture still needs a ton of work too! Plenty of time yet though :)

Still deciding on the clothes... blue jeans seemed boring, so thought i'd try out some plaid. Probably gonna try khakis and whatever else I can think of too though. Any idea are much appreciated!

well its not kakashi i think. kakashi never shown his face in comic. so it will be so subjective if you show his face. the black hidan is a lot of better than this one.. IMO ;)

owell , this is different. It's supposed to show kakashi in Normal life somehow. Like Walking down the street and beeing an ordinary person. Would you walk around the town with a mask on while you have ordinary clothing on? cmon, lol

but kakashi did that, since he was a kid. have you read the comic?? even when he was collapse, he always wear that mask. read the comic, or watch the anime first then you'll know.

i read it since the beginning of Naruto Manga Chapter 1 ._. i'm a big fanboy of Naruto...
though i wanted to tell you that he isn't going after the real kakashi concept, he wants his own piece of mind in it. It sounds stupid when you're a fanboy of it, but sometimes people like to do that. ;)

OMG you started a new entry, and its very good too! :D i really love this casual style..little suggestion, maybe you should cover his mouth, because he never reveals his mouth in the book, even when he is a child :D

I know his mask is part of the character, but I just wanted to try it without.

Trying to get this done on time, but I've been totally lazy with it.

Still not sure what I'll be doing for final poses...

Gasp! What did they see? lol
At first glance, i thought it was the highpoly sculpt. Smooth model!
The dog's eyes aren't noticeable though as its face is very dark. But looks cool anyway!

Ah you added the mask again. Congrats on finishing man. You should have done it Mike Inel style, your first model versus Pakkun and kakashi :P. Still a great job!

ugh no body wants to see ninja on dog action! ^_^ but anyhoot, great work mate! as much as i like hidan, this is such a great character peice. anyreasons why u changed the pants to a more traditional style?

Thanks guys. Decided to add the mask, and change up the colors some so it felt more like Kakashi. Though I still think the other colors were kinda fun :P.

Hehe, I was thinking about posing pakkun in some "fighting" pose... but then I realized there was no way I was gonna get a cool fighting pose out of him.
