Hi guys, im having trouble modeling a ceiling like this, where pillars the the base lead into a vaulted ceiling. The pillars are no problem but the ceiling is getting me, i cant even think of how to tackle it. Any ideas?

That should be kind of simple. Make a cylinder, with how ever many sides you need, maybe 64 and then delete the bottom half so you are left with just an arch. Duplicate it and rotate it 90 and then do some sort of boolean operation to get something like this:
