For the beauty shot. It is anything goes right? I can have multiple models (1 enemy and my character) plus a background that I design in photoshop using photos and such?
I just wanted to make sure that this is shot is a "no holds barred" type off thing.
Thanks in advance.
Thomas

no, you can't have an enemy unless he/she/it is very abstract. Otherwise, everything else is good:)

yes, you can have deadbodies on the ground, but, they should be blackened or something so that they don't count as a second character. But, as a side note, you can put in as many dead cats as you want hehe

I think gore, like you suggested, is fine. To be honest, only nudity and provocative poses are an issue:)

to be honest, LOL

..

sorry but thats something i expect from some shortened americans but not from an international contest

nudity is realy not that vulgarising than gore, but ok.. its international and so you have to respect different cultures.. but thats necessarily involves banning overdrawn gore!

OR donīt banning nudity nor gore

everything other is absurd

donīt get me wrong.. itīs realy cool what youīv done for this contest and i respect your opinion.. but this is mine!

The reason why I say be careful with nudity is because it is fairly easy to make. Just remove a piece of cloth here or there, and put them in a certain position, and voila, you have made a controversial piece of art in 10 minutes. However, for gore, it takes an enormous amount of work to make something bloody, and gory. They would have to break their model apart, overlap textures, paint the environments for whatever the gore touches etc etc etc etc..

So, even though I say gore is allowed, I seriously doubt anyone has the time to do it;)

just wondering...
if i can model the carcass of an animal on the floor, can i include it? (im just worried that itll be considered as a 'character'.... heck i probably won't even make that but still.

oh, and the carcass is a part of his stand....

:gasp: to even THINK that i'd kill a dog! i lub dogs too! they're swo fwuzzy and luwable! and occasionally evil rabid bloodhounds that would bite a crotch off just to see somebody holler in pain....

lol, definately not a dog... hell i probably won't even put a carcass in case PETA or something comes to these sites. hey there PETA (People Eating Their Animals) u won't see any animal rights violations here :D.
