Hi I saw the thread that got closed and I gotta come to the defense of the "conspiracy theorist" that started it.

First of all he's not the only person concerned about the safety of the vaccine. There's plenty of mainstream news reports on this subject.
AP Poll: Third of parents oppose swine flu vaccine
http://www.prisonplanet.com/ap-poll-72-of-parents-worried-about-h1n1-vaccine-side-effects.html

It's a very complicated subject and nothing I can write in this post will do it any justice. It's not just a "kooky conspiracy theory" that vaccinations have alleged links to autism in children. Autism is on the rise and there are thousands of websites on this subject. Google- autism vaccines. Google - swine flu vaccine guillain berrias syndrom.

It's on the insert of the actual vaccines that they are possibly dangerous and might cause all sorts of physical disorders. Google - H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine Insert

As you can see the corporate controlled mainstream media has conditioned you to blow off people like the original poster and to just go along with the pharmaceutical companies' propaganda and take the shot, totally ignorant of the possible side effects, not to mention the billions of dollars these companies are making off of this scam. You want to talk about "conspiracy theories"? Google this one: Baxter vaccine scandal. Yes, it's true, they were caught shipping out vaccines containing a deadly, live avian flu virus only a few months before the first swine flu occurance. Guess who's now making billions of dollars producing swine flu vaccines?

As for the New World Order, go to Google News and search for "New World Order."

I find today's society totally and completely absurd. The New World Order is openly being created, it's out in the open and admitted in the mainstream news, and yet you still get the "tinfoil hat" comments if you try and talk about it.

If it's alleged, meaning not proven, and people believe in it out of a matter of faith, then it's a conspiracy theory.

Honestly, this is GameArtisans. It's a website about video-game art, and art in general. I come here mostly to escape this kind of stuff that I see everywhere in my day to day life. I really don't see why we need threads about these weird issues on here...

Agreed - there' a reason the other thread got closed. Does it have anything to do with game art? No, more like flame bait. With only 3 posts, it looks like you're new to Game Artisans... Welcome! Just so you know, as a general rule of thumb we tend to discuss Game Art here, not get into big fights over vaccines, conspiracies, and the like.

*sigh* There is no connection between the rise in autism cases and vaccinations. The reason autism is on the rise is because more mental disibilities are being classified as autism that previously weren't idendifiable.

Seriously, thats like saying "two people died in Africa while the first ever Superbowl happened in America, therefore, alledgedly FOOTBALL KILLZ PEEPLE IN AFRIKA!!!OMFGZORS!!" You know who the people are who alledge things like that? Idiots like Alex Jones. He does nothing more than sell fear. The more he can scare you, the more money he makes.
(honestly, you know Alex Jones actually pretends to believe in Lizard People. Like, actual Reptilian lizxard people. I'm not making that up.)

I have to agree, threads like this at GA seem really lame. This isn't the place for topics like this imo.

CookeCHUUUUU!!!!!!

I've said it once. I'll say it again. Facts, conjecture, or assumption.... You're artists, not doctors. GA, as accommodating and easy going as it may be, is not WebMD. It is also not a place for medical debate, unless it directly relates to the health of artists in general - as in repetitive stress injuries or our usual which coffee/soda is best for me debate.

Unless you guys have a very specific, very personal (read:you) type of story and it relates to us here as artists, GA is not the place for the medical advice.

Guys, if you want medical advice, take advantage of your health insurance & see your doctor. Not here. GA is about Game ART and the stuff that motivates/upsets the ARTISTS.

Thanks
~~Rob~~

EDIT>>> For the record, future posts where you guys play doctor on issues as serious as this WILL be deleted.
