Hey guys,i'm facing a situation where i dont know how to handle it best.
So the company i'm working for, sent me some models to texture. The thing is that these models also need a normal map,but they only have a diffuse map. So i thought of using crazybump but i'm not really convinced with the result.
Also,i remember seeing a shader for max that when you put it in the Diffuse channel, you could render to texture the diffuse channel and get a nmap. This might be a solution since what i really need is the basic shading so i can add details later in PS.
Does anyone remember this shader? i cannot find it online. Also if you guys know a different approach to this problem, let me know.
I need the best possible results without sculpting the mesh.
Thanks! :)
