Dust514 Video

Hey all, I saw this video of Dust514 and thought it looked pretty damn good, so check it out:

From what I can tell, it'll be on the 360 and is an MMO. The video looks like it was done in-engine, but if I had to guess I'd bet it's pre-rendered. Still pretty damn sweet though.

I wonder if there will be some real-time connection to the EVE mmo on the PC.

reminds me of ut3, and not just cause of the engine. still looks sweet though.

Dust 514 is a first-person shooter that's being incorporated into the EVE universe, acting essentially an action MMO for consoles. The game offers a mix of first-person shooting and real-time strategy gameplay where you play as a marine with a rifle running around on the ground. It's not only set in the EVE universe, it's actually connected to EVE. The Dust battlefields will determine who controls territory within EVE's world. The EVE Online players will have to contract players of Dust to go in and destabilize territory.

oh wow, so it really is connected to EVE.

I gotta say, that's pretty f'n awesome. Imagine if you could play Warcraft3 and have that affect WoW. That's a really nice step forward in MMOs I think.

Well.... maybe hehe. We'll see how it turns out
