IF you guys didn't know already, Fall is also time to submit to next year's Spectrum Annual. It's $20 per entry, Series or a series of 5 drawings for $40.00. Important: you can't send files, you have to ship them an actual print of your digital work.

Here's the website: http://www.spectrumfantasticart.com/entry_info.php

Zoom on the poster this year's poster by Pablo Rivera :theme is choose player screen for a fighter game with Art tool names..it's kick ass!

Just thought you guys should now. But at my school this and the Society of Illustration were the big competitions of the year. And Good for Publicity if you get in.

Those are some great puns on the entry poster! Thanks for the link!

Although it's debatable how much good publicity it is to get in. More publicity never hurts, but I've never got a job from being in Spectrum or Expose. I was just having lunch a couple of days with a cover artist who gets into these things a lot more than I do, and he said he didn't know of anyone who ever got a job via being published in Spectrum either. I do know of one person, myself... But I don't enter Spetrum any more because of the costs. Just my opinion, though. {shrug}
