Have any of you people been playing the crysis demo?

Some enterprising gamers have discovered that the "directx 10 only" features work quite well in windows XP.

the screenshots on this site: http://www.crysis-online.com/forum/index.php?topic=11837.0#msg203789

show there is basically almost no difference between XP and Vista visuals.

So was is all just more underhanded marketing for vista?

One Clear awnser: Yes! ok dx 10 has some different shaders but it is hardly noticeble. One thing though i think if you want to play it at full you need like sli nvidia 8800 gtx cards ore something, so in that perspective you need a DX10. :P

yeah you still need a really really powerful graphics card to play crysis!
but at least you dont need a whole new windows vista operating system.

Honestly, since when had Microsoft not tried an underhand approach to selling ANYTHING?

But still I geuss Apple and many others can be accused of this, lets all go Linux ;)
