Slow Life Games - 2D / 3D artist - [PAID] iPhone - tower defense game
Job description and responsibilities:
I'm looking for a 2D or 3D artist who can create one or more of the following elements:
1) 10 characters (5 "runners" with movement animation, 5 "towers" with throwing/shooting animation) - each character 40x40 zoomed out, 20x20 zoomed in, all 10 characters are human
2) 4 backgrounds for play levels (800x600 when zoomed out, 480x320 when zoomed in by player) - more architectural than illustrated
3) main menu / splash graphics
In terms of style: realism with an element of fantasy. 80/20 ratio between the two. More clean, bright, simple and iconic than overly detailed as I find that works best on a small screen like an iPhone.
Prefer perspective in Fieldrunners (halfway between isometric 3/4 and top down).
Best examples would be something between these:

Defender Chronicles : Legend of The Desert King (not for the flat perspective, just for the concept and style)
I'd love to work with one artist on this if it's a fit, but realize I may need to have a 3D artist render the character animations and a 2D artist do the backgrounds and menu graphics, or some combination like that.
