What's the one movie everybody has to watch at least once every year?

Mine is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

I tried to start a tradition watching a movie called Santa's Slay but none of my friends are willing to watch it a second time.

Merry Christmas everybody.

Merry Christmas all!

Man, there are some insanely nice decorated houses in my area. Some people went all out this year. Doesn't look like the economy is slowing anyone down in that regard :)

Gotta say..... I AGREE!!!! :thumb: :thumb: Totally how I spend my X-mas day, as we do the gift thing on the eve.

Speaking of which, I got a couple of nifty goodies:

1) HP Mini 311 Netbook w/3GB (http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptop/hp-mini-311.aspx): Surprisingly fast & plays games pretty well. Got my faves like Deus Ex & some online FPSes already jacked in. Got some 3D apps workin' up in there now too. Great for CG on the train or in bed.
2) Batman Arkham Asylum PS3 (Playing this, atm. Fun. Fun. Fun.)
3) Marvel Ultimate Alliance PS3
4) Mimbot Darth Vader 4GB USB Stick (http://www.mimoco.com/shop/featured-products/darth-vader-unmasked-mimobot.html): Only a 1/4 the memory of the stick I just bought this week, but I'll be damned if I don't smile and laugh every time I unmask Vader. :)

Looking forward to a quiet X-Mas day. 5 NBA games in a row. Yay!

Most of them are from the Incredible Hulk, the Ed Norton one, there's a bit of Dark Knight and Iron Man in there too, though i can't quite place the "we spent billions making him indestructable" clip.

Slide, not very festive, but pretty damned sweet :thumb:

I believe that was a clip from the Wolverine Origins movie. And c'mon, it was unique and edited well. Totally believable as absurd as it is, but you know Hollywood! lol

I had a great christmas. I didn't get much material wise, but I got what I always want, I was able to really connect with my niece. And compared to last year, it was a perfect weekend. I even saw the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie Saturday, and enjoyed it!! (cause I got to spend time with my niece, not cause of some lofty bullshit about cg art. If I wanted cg art, I'd have taken her to see Avatar.)

I hope you all had a decent christmas, without too much family drama. And were able to remember the real spirit of christams. Getting shit!!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas.
It can be a very stressful holiday for many people.
So I really pray that it went well and if it didn't I hope your healing up alright.

I had a nice Christmas. I did a lot of soul searching as to what I really want the holiday to be about. I'm trying to shape the holidays into something more meaningful. It is a slow buy rewarding process.

I had a really great time this year. I'm healing pretty well. I got to go see Disney's Christmas Carol (made it into a horror movie, but followed the book pretty darn well, the animation , modeling and texturing was really grotesque and beautiful ..some parts they acting had crinkles in their eyes while smiling and laughing. The only seen I had trouble suspending my disbelief was Mr. and Mrs. fezziwig's Ball dancing... see for yourself..you'll see it immediately. another cool thing was the aerial sweeps through dicken's london..that really took my breath away.

I also saw Alvin and the chipmunks, I was fan since the cartoon, so I 've now seen both. I thought the characters were done really well. It was the only other children's movie out at the time for niece and nephew to see along with Princess and the frog. Which I hope to see more than Avatar actually. Missed 2-d animation very much.

I have a few gifts, but most of them are food related ,but I think the best gift was being able to travel and see my Dad and family for Xmas.
