I'm starting this thread to get comments on my work and to boost my drive :)
I'll try to update regularly with portfolio or school related stuff.
I need to build a portfolio to apply for a summer internship in a few months, so here I go:
This is a model I'm working on for a school project. I'll be making a short movie with this character, so here it goes:

uhm, actually it doesnt look bad at all, thought you need to work bit more on your Preview's.
Can't go to much into detail because of time lack and other things but here are some points.
. You probably over used several polygon especially on the Head
. Your Polyflow is to Ordinary in my opinion, it flows but it doesnt show Sillhouett in the way it need to be shown as You probably will have problems while texturing
. I dont think the Deformation on the Legs and Arms will be too good, Spend some time on this, look up good tutorials and try to use those tips from them on your Model
It looks overall nicly done.

You are right the sillhouette is very weak, I need to work on that more. Since this is for an animatin project and I have very little time I don't think I'll reduce the poly count, but I need to visit the main joints before I can call this model finished.
Oh and by the way, it's probably going to be rendered with meshsmooth on :)

The body is good, it really gives the monopoly guy feel. I'm not sure if its part of the design but his chin doesnt show in silhouette and for animation this might develop some problems with diologue.
