Ok so I admit I have never messed with the physique modifier before and I'm fairly new to Max in general, but I was working on my Mini Comp entry and am trying to pose him. After applying the modifier i went into it's vertex sub-menu and attached the tusks to the head, but when I rotate the head around the tusks don't move along with it and they don't keep their rigid shape. How can I fix this?

Grab the verts on the tusks with the Physique modifier on and assign them to the head link with the vetex type set to "The green + sign" rigid. By the way make sure to have No Blending chosen from the Blending Between Links drop-down list.

one more thing: use the skin modifier, it's waaay easier to use! i tried using the physique modifier to and didn't understand it at all, and then someone wrote i should use the skin modifier and take a look ant this tutorial: http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/269783
