Fantastic, I was browsing the entry pages and saw alot of Superb characters!. We collectivly produced an insane amount of game art in a couple of month's time.

I want to thank, FredH + all those who helped him! for taking upon him the massive task of organizing and maintaing this fantastic battle!..

This was the first serious cg competition I've participated in and i can only say THIS WAS FUN :D. I've learned a lot of stuff during the competition and had a great time watching others working. So many inspiring work done in such a short period of time! It's amazing :thumb:

I totally crashed Sunday night after working two days straight with hardly any sleep. I didn't finish mine but I learn a great deal from the more experienced artists and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Really great experience! I didn’t sleep last 2 days also! And I can’t finish too! Thought just tow steps remained to finish line! but I can’t anyway! Although I’m happy yet cause I learned many things too! one is that scheduling hardly is much better than working hardly! :D n other one is that, time extensions can’t extend again n again so schedule hardly!!! :D n so on!!!

Like I mentioned in my thread... my fingers are now stuck to the ctrl and alt keys, I can't navigate through a webpage without middle clicking and trying to zoom in, and I'm always trying to ctrl + z everything I say to my girlfriend... lol. Agreed. I really learnt a few things aswell. Tips and tricks that helps me get the model done quicker. Also, I don't have as many problems with normalmaps as I used to have... which is incredibly nice!

Comps like this is what makes us better.... and it gives us great portfolio material ;)

Yeah great show everyone! After watching intently from the sidelines last year I was really excited about taking part in this year's war! If I learned one thing from the competition it's that scheduling is just as important as every other part.
