OK here's my entry. I just named this character "Pao Shi Kei" I call him "Pao" ^ ^ he is my imaginary character from my childhold.. a fairy boy with a big mechanic glove in his left arms.
I am thinking about to give him a wings on his back.. hmm.. :think:

great stuff! i'd go with the wings, although it makes him less flexible (heavy things on his back). if you can pull this off correctly with great looking wings and all it would be very very cool!

Looks nice :), tho watch out for the similarity with the Super Smash Bros character "pit"...(like...the wings hehe)..

Strange, I wrote a post earlier here but its disappeared.

Anyway, perhaps you should consider carrying the mechanical augmentation of the glove over into the wings to help tie the design together a bit better. It'd also shift him further away from the Pit character.

Traditionally, fairies have dragonfly or butterfly wings. Maybe you could experiment with those too to avoid comparissons to the SSB:B character.
