Hi Artisans,

GameArtisans.org will be closed from Sunday-Tuesday April 4th to 6th. I need to make some heavy modifications to the site so things will be messed up for a while.

I am going to move links around, change the colors, and make everything more unified and simplified. Should be a little more easy to navigate. GA has gotten quite fat in 4 years, so many pages to change.

Let's think this through for a second: I suspect that Fred might be just a bit busy with the Montreal studio and the site and everything else to just be making t-shirts. But maybe if someone else wanted to spearhead the operation so that Fred didn't have to worry about it, it could happen. Maybe that person could front the money for shipping and printing, and then send the profits to Fred... hmmm, that may not be the most effective...

What if we just submitted a design to some place like CafePress? (It's a site where you submit designs and then anyone can order print-to-order posters, mugs, mousepads, shirts, thongs, etcetera.) Then anyone who wants one can buy whatever is available, and Cafe Press ships it out and prints it, and the original submitter gets a cut: So if all Fred had to do was submit the design, checks would go to him.

The only catch is that I'm not sure CafePress ships to anywhere out of North America (or at least they used to be like that - dunno about now.) So someone would either have to research that or find a similar place that DID ship all over. (Or barring that, you have to find a friend on the forum who could order the shirt and then forward it to you!)

The only other catch is what would be on the shirt. Just the logo? Something funny? Or would we have a mini for some hi-res image that would go on the shirt?

Anyhow, just some things to think about if someone REALLY want shirts. I don't actually care about having one, I'm just offering some ideas on how they could actually happen without swamping Fred (Because you don't want to increase the chance that Dominace War V doesn't happen 'til 2012, right?) :)
