Well im in. here's my early concept. i think the kid's gonna end up changing a bit but chojo will probably end up the same. anyhoot, here's my entry. cya!

oh yeah and back story is the big guy is the kid's imaginary friend. she used a spell to give him flesh and he basically protects her. he also has chambers on his back that she loads up magic missles into and when he is ready to fire his belly shows the type of ammo that is in him and he basically pounds his stomach really hard to shoot the missle out of his mouth.

I love the creativity this competition has inspired. So many different interpretations and styles.

I really like this. Chojo is wokring really well as a character. The Kid fades into the background a little too much. Working a bit more contrast into her costume and pushing the silhouette a little should allieviate this.

wow i didnt expect any replies. when i saw that my entry had gotten pushed to the 2nd page that it was going to get lost with the flood of great entries. its still very preliminary and i hope i get some time to work on it over my vacation but this might be the first contest i dont finish on time :( anyways, thanks for the support and i hope to get more done.

I dont like the dark colors, you should brighten it up a bit and use less shadows (in my opinion ;))

It looks kind of like a statue/doll I saw a while ago.
