Hey there.
I brought this up on the CG Society game forum yesterday but got no real response on it. Since this Forum is getting off the ground maybe the idea's better suited here.
It seems like a lot of forums have the 'Stuff you're working on thread' for smaller side projects or little practice exercises. Upon checking out sites like Conceptart.org & their sketchbook forum, I was thinking that it would be cool if there was a part of the forum that catered to artist threads, where an artist can post the projects they're working on in one continuing thread. even like sculpting program 'sketches' or small practice models. ideally too, say an artist wanted to work on a huge project involving several different assets. instead starting multiple threads for each asset, you can track all of the progress in the one thread.
it's just a suggestion. i think it'd be a very good way for beginners to get crits & the pros to show off their stuff.
