Heard about this a while ago.
A very LOOOONG while ago, no doubt.

Cunipshun: Nobody wants to dissuade you from posting new and interesting information. We all enjoy scoops. However, between this and the 2 year old Hairtrix "news", you really need to check to see that what your posting is actually new. The Turbosquid service has got to be at least 8 or 9 years old by now.

Keep posting, but watch out for that old news. It creeps up on you like bad chili. ;)

I'm curious to know if anybody contributing to turbosquid has been able to make any money off of it ever? It seems like posting would be a drop in a sea of mostly marginally useful models. Not to mention whatever commission they scrape off the top.

Thanks for posting the link, even if it is a tad old...it's always nice to keep the attitude of sharing information. I've never used Turbosquid but actually heard it was more beneficial to just try and sell your models on your own since they take such a huge cut. I've also heard that the only models that really sell enough to make it worth your while are military models...since military simulations can be created using these premade items (and there are certainly a lot out there :) ) I could be talking out of my ass, since I really have no experience with them, but just thought I'd speak up...since I'm bored. I guess if you've got a bunch of older models kicking around, it might not be abad idea to toss em up there and try to get some cash.

WORD!
