Comments/Tips Needed

Hey, this started with the Wii challenge, but seeing as though I've never done a more involved photoshop picture (pretty new to digital art still) I thought I should try to finish it for a possible portfolio piece.

At the moment it is lacking a good amount of polish, and many areas aren't done (for example, windows, blinds, rug, file cabinet, +little doo-dads).

I welcome all feedback and tips/tricks in photoshop, as i don't know many and do most things by hand. I'm sure there are some techniques that can save alot of time and look great.

Anyway, enough talk; here are some stages in development, ending with the most up to date. It's going kind of slow but I hope to finish at some point :)

cool little scene but youve got alot of extra space in that composition. It would be nice if you cropped it or angled it to get more focus. you could trim off alot of the bottom of it as theres nothing there that is important to the characters or story? Also you could add some more dramatic lighting, maybe look at some film noir stuff and play around with some ideas?
