Thought I'd throw up the first sketches here as well, as previously said; my entry for dominance war is a undead/demonic warlord with a fire/lava artifact weapon, a big magical "flamethrower" which spews fire all the way from the deepest pits of Hell, not only to incinerate the bodies of enemies but also their souls. :eek:

Anywaaaay, hope you like my ideas and sketches, comments more than welcome.

So here is a little quick sketch I did, probably going to do more small detail sketches of legs, arms and armor next, and starting to decide what direction I want this to go. Hopefully not straight to Hell ( har har har).

I really like the top right corner design.
The tail is really cool, it gives a stealth demon feeling to it.

! yea top right is badass ! i think in the new sketch the shoulder pads are oversized heh compared to that picture anyways ! :D lookin forward to more !

Cool drawings, but a bit generic I must say. Maybe it is a little unfair to give a crit like that on this early stage. Sometimes you just gotta get the clichés down on paper before you can move on.

But as I said, I like the drawings. Looking forward to see how it evolves.

Thanks for all comments, yeah the shoulder pads are a bit too big on the quick sketch, gonna use this new torso sketch as a base for a couple of pics where I'm gonna explore some new armor ideas, and styles. Here's a little taste of his artifact weapon, the flamethrower from Hell :) It's supposed to be wielded like a glove of some sort. But there's still a long way to go, with tail designs, full body pics etc. Loads of fun, in other words :D

Lots to do at work, but here's an little update on my character, Trying to get him even more menacing-looking, thinking about bulking his body mass up a bit, more sketches on that to come. Hope you like what you see, eager to hear you opinons on the design!

Kinda felt stuck with the whole human skull design, this being a demonic warlord and all. Thought I'd do some more demonic designs on the head part, this is the first one. Enjoy! ;)
