Just throwng my hat in the ring here folks.This is on the right lines for me but there will probably be lots of changes. I don't like the boots they will change and the gun is naff so that will also be different needs to be alot more scary and he will have more tatts. Havn't got a back story for him the only thing i have is he is holding the beating heart of a white stag the ancients Celts believed this animal to be mystical and from the other side (he keeps it in his sporran of course). Have a look tell me what you think.

I like the concept, and the color, but the first thing I thought when I saw the blue paint on his face is "Braveheart".

Thanks for the interest, fair comment about the paint but you have to cast your mind back a bit further to the Picts and the Celts they were using it along time before Mel Gibson.

Thats an awsome idea man! the beating heart of the white stag is cool maybe you could incorporate more white stag stuff into it.. cant wait!

The work is solid and really great, but keep the brief in mind...im counting 5 weapons and im guessing the heart is the relic? The origin of his power should come from the relic, so with your first initial sketch I dont think you have achieved this. Wouldnt want you to get disqualified would we :D

Noice logo placement. I do appreciate the cramming of stuff onto him, the loaded crossbow and boose are well within reach in a pinch. Mixing the different era weapons is tricky, you strike a good median. The old coot have an artifact?

fantastic! I get the feeling crazy dwarf sort of character, very cool! your colouring style is awesome too , the blue reminds me a lot of the movie Braveheart - are you trying to capture that type of character?

Have'nt had much free time recently did a couple of hours last night just trying to get a feel for him.

Spent some time last night cutting back on the weapons (did'nt realise he had so many) and refining the two he is going to have the gun fires crossbow bolts and big f*&% off bullits the staff still needs some stuff added to it. Quite like it now although he is nowhere near big enough on the top half have to start fixing that.

Have you thought about some Celtic tats? I've spent half the comp trying to design/model Celtic Knots. It's a madness maker though.

Oh, and the blue paint on the face reminds me a lot of... the Celts and the Picts who used to paint themselves with (what's assumed to have been) woad. ;)
