Environments

is there any possible way to get an environments section. i guess mainly what i do are concepts for environments and then actually making these environments based on concept for game levels. is there a section that is suited for that or is it possible to have a environment section? thanks fredh

Yes, seeing environment art would be great. I love the stuff. I'll tell you waht, in the future, if enough environment art is posted, I will open up a new section for it;)

Well you can easely get allot of people into enviorments, by makeing an enviorment comp :D

In general there isn't enough interest to merit a entire comp dedicated to environments, which is why I wouldn't expect a enviornment comp from gameartisans anytime soon. Gotta remember this is a growing forum and it can't be taking drastic risks like that just yet. Maybe in the future but just not yet.

Wel you can always do it as a side comp, i mean you can start by doing small parts.(like a altar, teleporter, tree, single house) Even if only two people join, it wil atleast be intresting enough for alot of people to read and see the workflow and maybe join in on the next one! :)
