Funny, I have the game, but I don't play it. A friend of mine asked me to pick it up, but I've hadn't had a spare moment to play it.

Supreme commander? Are you kidding me? I can't believe that piece of trash RTS is even mentioned in the same sentence as the beautifully crafted experience that is CoH. Hands down best RTS ever made, I love it like I love crack.

Supreme commander blew so much chunks I had to uninstall it post haste. What's with neon green system font, and UI the larger than the game window itself? It wasn't fun either.

Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I would hardly call COH the best RTS ever made. Being someone who served in the military myself I can honestly say the I am sick to death of World War II military genera. It is so over done I want to poop in my mouth. ;)

C&C is much bigger scale just like SC, where units are much more expendable, COH is like playing the commando missions in C&C over and over, you cant really lose your men, so much more emphasis is placed on each one, and given the setting it makes sense, but for an RTS, I personally don’t feel like it works. You don’t have bases as such, theirs no conventional resource management.

For me when I play an RTS, I love to build up my base, to turtle or headgehog out, scroll through the tech tree, and make a massive army to steam roller the opposition, COH however offers none of that.

If you ever played army men on the pc, COH is in my opinion THAT game, with a few bolted on perks, like territories and cover (impressive as they are) they don’t make me want to call it an RTS or enjoyable. I am by no means saying that COH is a bad game. Nor am I am saying that SC is the best RTS ever.

However I am pretty sure anyone who enjoys C&C style games will appreciate SC over COH. Just for the record as someone who has played allot of RTS games including COH, in my opinion the best RTS ever made was StarCraft hands down. :praise:

COH is indeed awesome. But I still play the Rome: Total War and it has to be my favorite. It is a different type of RTS than COH is though...I appreciate both of them!

Do any of you guys play via Hamachi?
