I would work on his stance before I start coloring it. It feels like he is going to fall over. Also, try and do some more concepting at the most basic level to get a nice looking sillouette and feel for the character. I think you went right into the detail before thinking about natural attributes. Alot of artists I see on here start out with scribbles to get the general look and feel and slowly transform thm into a masterpiece.
