Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I have to paste a link to my original dw3 thread or if I should repost everything here, but I will continue to post all my latest progress here.

These were my first rought sketches

the following friday I drew a clean line art verson of my character in pencil on what started out on one piece of 8.5 x 11 to 5 more pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper.

Last nite I did a quick 3 color mock up. Thanks to silverfox I found out that our team colors are black and gold which i was going to use to recolor the pic tonite. I am currently trying to create more contrast wihtt the colors, so far all the detail is getting lost when I apply color.

here is the lastest colors, black(somewhat muted :P) and gold. Details are still hard to pull out, perphaps its more of the line work that the colors. Well after working on the colors for two nites i feel a it burnt out, perphaps that explains the fiery bg, which was super quick and fun to do~ kinda cheesy but fun.

Coolio, the painting looks really good so far. I do like the gold version of it, but the red looked cool as well. :)

Really nice work here. Just curious, how many arms does she have? I currently see only 3. Is this correct?

... oops, as I was typing this, I looked up a again, and I found a suggestion of an arm hidden along her side. You might need to clear that up somehow in the finals. Otherwise, She is looking really good! Since you have a month left, maybe you can play around with her a bit. I wonder how she would look if you got rid of all the hard black edges.

the dragon girl looks really powerful.. btw just personal likeness, i like the first head though...u can see it rite away the face.. with that cold stare n expression, also the balance of the head..just my 2 cents..

Good point, as I was doing the turn arounds I felt the dragon head helmet was a bit too big, but I just sub consciously I was thinking of a demon that was consumming her, so the demon parts should be a bit overpowering, or maybe Im making up excuses cuz I'm too lazy to fix it, lol. I'll post turn arounds that I worked on this weekend soon. Thanks for everyones input so far!!!

vivian side without arms and wings. The legs look a bit smaller than the rest of her, so in the next image with the arms and wings I made her leg longer and thicker.

vivian side with arms and wings. I mad eher leg longer and thicker, but not by much. The view must have been scewed when I was drawing it out on my drawing board, the original size was 11 x 14, not too big but still possible to scew ur poportions if you're not careful.

well thats all the turn arounds for now. I drew each view of the arms and wings seperately of course which was quite time consuming. I also did some different face expressions, but it hard to make different facial expressions when your character is a very menacing, is its more. I'll post those soon.

This is looking really cool. I do like the first face you had that had more of an angle and less of a bubly cheek.

i prefer the red version of her, maby give her gold trimings instead of the full gold/yellow? just a thought ;p
