This morning, i feel very sad and disappointed.    Yesterday i bought a new LCD monitor 17 (LG 1753 S) to change my old CRT Philips 17 monitor. And in the night it still going well with my Genius Tablet 6x8 (i bought it almost 2 years ago). But bad thing happened in this morning. My tablet cursor start shaking when i move it on the tablet pad. I don't know what is going on. I have try to reinstall the tablet and change the battery, but the problem still existed.
Maybe i will not continue my DW's entry. Hard to say "good bye". So sad..... :flag: :flag:
Thx to all GA's members that have help me till today. Good luck to you guys. Hope you can finished your entry. :thumb: :thumb:

You know you don't want to quit the competition, it's good practice! did you try unplugging the usb cable to putting it back in? that fixed the problem for me once. new tablet! new tablet! get a wacom and a real mouse, the default wacom mouse blows. (blows because you can't to my knowledge orient the mouse angle to compensate for your wrist angle)

probably the stylus malfunctioning, it's more likely to die , since tablet itself has no mechanical parts. I had it happened to me twice.
so go get new pen.

Don't give up bro, there no rules that say you must using tablet or even using any Digital Art tools to join this comp !!! Just grab your pencil, crayon, water color or any real life art media and then you can still participate in this competition. Keep in fight !!!!!

The Red Spot Area is the area where the tablet is start shaking.

get a wacom, or mail/call genius about the problem and see if you can get a replacement pen or something like that.

I can certainly empathize. Over the past several days, I've had my own hardware/software problems (http://gameartisans.org/forums/showpost.php?p=36179&postcount=25) that have set back my DW3 entry too. Just forge ahead. Its not easy, but the other option is outright quitting - which is never preferable.

Thx for all your support buddy. I decide to continue this war. Although i only can using my tablet with half power (like a handicap match maybe :)). I only can using my tablet on the white spot and everytime i wanna go to the red spot, i using mouse and drag it to the white spot. More difficult more interesting. :)
WhiteGuardian, is your Genius tablet anywhere near your new monitor or perhaps the wiring is somehow interconnected? I read somewhere before that some monitors does disturb tablet electronics (i dunno the exact terms). But then again those guys meant REALLY close, like wacom almost sticking to the monitor screen close.
Perhaps you can try plugging your genius off, shift some wires around, and plug it back clean and direct to the cpu. best of luck!

Glad to here your continuing your entry. Too bad about the tablet because I'm really liking your sketches. Have you tried using your tablet on another pc? Maybe its a conflict of your drivers.. If you installed the lcd monitor drivers that is.
Also good too see members help pick up a injured fellow comrade in the heat of the battle :p
