Hate to say this, but I like the last one on the right. Kind of looks like something you would see in hit series, Ultraman. It would make for a very humorous giant:p Nice initial brainstorming concepts otherwise!

Well defined FreH.

Very confident line strokes i may add.

Yeah, I like the last one on the right too:p

The one on the other side of the page, the hooded giant, he looks pretty cool too, but if you put a hood on him, he would probably loose his giantness look to him.

Here is a quick sketch for myself so I can get some thickness for the model sheet.

great thumbnails and turnarounds... it looks like you explored a good array of monster types before deciding to proceed. I like your first top two thumbnails as well, they're worth holding onto for something in the future. I could see the three legged tree guy's stomach acting as a prison cell, or it could contain a huge boulder (like how trees grow over/into stones) and probably beef up his toughness. I digress... :]

cool thumbs!

I'd change the size of the head on the character you chose.. it makes him look childish, small, bobblehead ish. Even when you add humans for scale your eye would automaticly think that the humans are small instead, like mini people around a big toy robot. The stiff pose and the unexplored joints of the limbs help give that impression.

Work out all the joints more so they all actually look like it would be possible. and balance the character proportions better and you will surely loose the toy look

peter_john-Thanks sir, I was thinking the same thing about the tree monster, my friend thought that would be cooler than everything else, it's very epic.
EVIL-Thanks alot, I agree, it does seem very childish now that I look at it again. I'll definitely make the changes.

Thank you guys,
Rob

I agree with evil, it's looking really good, but the head needs some resizing. You should probably always keep a small human on the ground for size references. You would probably see right away that a few additional details need to be shrunken to help him look huge. Looking forward to an update. I think you are really on to something with this one, but he just needs a little more proportions tweaking:)

Hey everyone, I'm out. I have some personal matters that I have to deal with at the moment. I had fun and wish everyone the very best.

Sincerely,
