New Transformers Trailer!

Here’s the new trailer: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/transformers.html and its pretty dam awesome! My only gripe is that I have yet to here the transformers talk! One of the best things about the show was that the transformers themselves had personality and if they don’t talk then it’s just another monster movie but for the most part the trailer did its job and I’m pumped!:D

It would be weird if a car capable of transforming into a hitech robot can't talk. However, when I think of it, it would probably be better. Silent gestures are always more powerful. If in the movie aliens II, the aliens ran around screaming, I am soo going to kill you, it wouldn't have been as cool hehe (it would have been funny though:p)

Yeah I hear ya but the aliens never spoke to begin with, so yeah that would have been weird but as a kid growing up watching the show I had fond memories of the banter between Megatron and Starscream. I just don't want them to be mindless machines killing sh^%T but actually have some motivation. By the way anyone can download the videos, hehe; yahoo just got the exclusive I think.

EDIT: What kind of car is the yellow / black one. Really like it. I assume its bumblebee he is called... or something like that.

Wow, just wow. That optimus prime transformation... some people have too much time to spare?

The trailers look great though, although i can only view the one that has less robot action in HD? :(

They do talk, and the original voice of Prime from the first series is the voice of Prime in the movie. And there is a clip out there of him saying "I am Optimus Prime."

ahh, so they talk. Strange. Yesterday, I saw the new trailer when I saw the movie Shrek 3 (not such a great movie) and the humans interact with the robots as if they couldn't talk. Well, it certainly makes sense that a highly sophisticated race of robots can easily pick up the English language.

I was really hoping to see some megatron action.. but he just remained frozen and motionless, big disappointment.

Yeah i heard they got the original voice for optimus prime which is awesome. But i also heard that they got Hugo Weaving for megatron?!? :(
