I have been toying around with Zbrush more and more lately...
After the interface learning curve I am really starting to enjoy it! It's such an amazing program.

Any comments?

thats pretty cool. coming from zbrush im amazed it doesnt have a crap load of detail on it. keep working on this one, i want to see some crazy zbrush work on this :) and nice work defeating the interface. im trying right now too.

Looks cool!
what's the polycount on your tree?
What kind of game did you build the tree for? 1st person shooter? 3rd person? rts?

Thanks :)

The base mesh I made in max was about 3,000 tris =O but then I optimized it to about half that. Still probably too big for most games...

I didn't have a specific target game in mind because it was just for fun but now that I think of it I would say 3rd person adventure/shooter.

nice bonzai ;)

I like ur optimistic colors. However, I think that foliage looks too smal comparing to thick trunk. Also I suggest adding some more sparvling roots, since u make a pretty much non-standard tree.
Also I guess that textures could be a bit more sharp, especially bark.

Good loking overal ;)

Im not sure how big this tree is, judging by the leaves id say the tree is pretty small, unless those are clumps of foliage in which case maybe some variation i think is good. its cute like a bonsai, in , is it spring? is it fall? imo :)
