Something i did long time ago, and like i didn't post it here in a thread, here is it. It's a timelapse in Modo where i do this little buddy:

There's also a video showing how can i modify the GI almost in real time.

I hope you find this useful.

He starts a Discussion about Modo in a different way then others do. Wich i find more apealing.

Indeed a great programm. How much does it cost btw.?
Also what can i exactly do in this programm? Only Stills?

Hehe, it's not a WIP or a finished model, only a Timelapse to show how i modelled this lizard.

Well, if i say that i don't use Max since years :D, too many ppl won't believe me.

You can do almost all except rigging and animating characters. It costs around 500 euros and its renderer is very good. It's the fastest subdiv modeller now, very handy. I modelled what u see without the need of to do click, only using my wacom and some keyboard shorcuts.

i recommend you to try the program. surely if you come from max, you will be disgusted with its philosophy hehe

see you

I have this program too, still need to work with getting familiar with the interface but overall it's great for rendering and it's a sort of in between program for modeling and sculpting so I think it's great for matching a model up with it's normal map.
