Hey everyone!

Every once and awhile I try and get together the local guys for a meet up to draw and hang out. I haven't done this since the old Cgchat days, but I figured it's about time I start it up again!

So, if you're in the Boston area, feel free to join us, if you're not, then try and get a sketch meet up in your own area going!

SO:

A couple of us are planning on meeting in Harvard Square, this Sunday! We're planning on hitting up the Harvard Museum of Natural History (http://www.hmnh.harvard.edu/) which is crammed full of great drawing subjects (skeletons, taxidermy specimens,a few live animals, crazy rock formations, glass flowers sea creatures, scale models of famous architecture. It looks like there's a new bug and arthropod exhibit and a glass sea creatures exhibit! Even if you don't draw, there's a ton of stuff to just look at, and it's a great place to bring the kids/family/aging grandmother/etc!

Admission is 9 dollars, and we're meeting at 1 PM at the big Au Bon Pain cafe (as opposed to the smaller one a few blocks away), right next to the Harvard T Stop. It's about a 5 minute walk from the museum. Come fed and ready to draw, we'll be in the museum awhile. Maybe we'll all go grab some food afterwards!

Reply if you're interested!

Wow Joe, that sounds like a lot of fun! I hope you all will post your "drawings" afterwards, so we all know what we missed....

Great idea, Joe. I think I will try to find a cool "drawing space" like this in my local area.
