DS- COLORS! Thread!

Hey Everyone, I've been playing around with DS Colors! It's a great little program for the Nintendo DS that turns the console into a portable sketchpad. It's easy to set up and free (with an HB cart). Learn more here:


Color's itself is REALLY responsive, and has nice pressure sensitivity. I've been pretty impressed. Anyway, if anyone has any of them tiny 512x384 paintings floating around, post them here!

P.S. - Those random DS touch-pad errors that cause horrible lines make me sad, and there apparently isn't much of anything that can be done about it :\

Neat. Now I'm gonna have to order a R4DS. Damn you, Joe!!! :p Wonder if anybody has hacked the DS (non-destructively) as a cheapo PC input device. (Time to hit Google.)

I've got the Cyclo DS Evolution card and I love it. Not sure what the other cards are like, but the Cyclo DS is really straight-forward, and I like how simple it's interface is.

I was cleaning my favorites menu yesterday and remembered that I bookmarked this thread last week. So, I ordered my R4DS package w/the 2GB microSD. Now I'm itchin' for it to arrive so that I can play with it. Beyond Colors!, I'm looking forward to playing with Animanatee (http://deku.gbadev.org/program.html) and FlickBook (http://masscat.afraid.org/ninds/FlickBook/flickbook.php). :) For now, I'm stuck waiting for my R4 & watching some of the more clever DS made animations on youtube. *sigh*

Just wanted to keep this thread alive in case anybody else felt like posting their DS art or animations.

yeah there's all sorts of sweet DS homebrew,,,from roguelike RPGs to customizable tetrisclones to ports of doom, quake, quake 2, hexen and more!

it's a great little unit!
