Any of you other artists watching Euro 2008 this summer?

And if your English like me who are you supporting because england didnt qualify.

I'm following the Czech Republic because Ive drawn them in the sweepstake (can win £40), and also following greece because I've drawn them as my tournament team in our euro2008 tourny at work on the xbox 360 (where I can win a wii) I love working in a games company :D

Well, I watched some matches and the best teams at the moment are, according to me -)> Germany, Portugal, The Netherlands, Spain and even if lost their first match Italy, pay attention to them, they are eager to win and I think they 'll do everything to reach their aim for the coming matches, that means 6 points on 6 against France and Roumania !

I wouldn't like to face Italy the next matches, It's going to be hard for their adversary really. :lucky:

Otherwise, I was happy Sweden won this evening, as I really don't like the way the greeks played.
However they were champions by playing like that 4 years ago.

But at the end, all the teams are the favourit, they are not there for nothing :)

why are you against them?

I agree they played very well against italy and think they'll win that group if they play that way. Spain today was damn good too, would be tempted to back them all the way but I know they love to bottle it and think they will. My money would be on Germany or portugal, but I want the Czech Republic to win it of course ;)

My fave team is Italy, but have to wait till tomorrow. :D

Well, I'm spain all the way this time round. Big Liverpool fan. I tjink they looked good, but the defence could be a bit shaky agaisnt the good teams. Everyone looks really good, even the not so hot teams. Good Euro this time round. I think Germany will win it though. The dutch and Portugal Look good too. France looked boring as usual.

this years Euro should be very intresting, I was counting on israel to place in the qualifying round they won the match against russia but lost to russia in the overall pts needed to enter the qualifying round by 1 [RU-24,IL-23] :brick: so england and Israel ended up with 23pts each. so I think it would be a close match between Germany, Portugal, Spain, France and Italy.

owell im for Russia but we see that they lose, wich was pretty predictable in my opinion. Soccer is not a russian game. I really like how the Czech and Portugal fight came out, Turkey - Switzerland was great aswell, loved the turnout.

Yeah looking forward to the Germany Croatia match, I think Germany will win this year so I'd expect a strong showing from them, but Croatia are no pushovers.

Yeah we sucked ass pretty much yesterday. And now against the "Ösis". If we reach Quarterfinals the tournament will end for us anyway. I see no chance there that we beat Portugal. I guess they will win the tournament or maybe the Netherlands.

That's not really my opinion, all the "prize list" of the U.R.S.S was given to the current Russia, and they were used to be a strong team before. Though, that's quite true they had a lot of Ukrainian and east countries players which is not the Russia of nowadays.

That's a fact they are not anymore what they were but I think It's quite a football nation aswell. As most of europe, football is so much famous and popular everywhere :)

To end up, As it has been stated, all the team or approximatively can win that cup, it's europe after all, they are not at this stage of the competition for nothing, but that's true that some of them look stronger, don't need to tell which one of them :lucky:

The netherlands lost because that's the first time they play against a team playing quickly and as their weakness is their defense...

That's sad in a way because I like them aswell but Russia deserved that victory :)

I cry for italy too....bad luck why it let play toni...del piero only in the last 5 minutes and don't let him do penalties i really don't understand.is not the same italy than world cup :( no Totti no Cannavaro...Pirlo and Gattuso out of match...no one that shoot...in spain everybody shot in italy only bad crosses for tony head...that's sad spain was fast but always lose ball when doubled...italy also miss some individual play this time.

Yeah, why Donadoni don't include Del Piero in the penalty shooter. It's a big question. Toni is great when he played for club, but in euro, he don't make it.

your German, you should love football, you guys have won and been in loads of finals, also your teams fairly young and will only get better.

Was a great game really enjoyed, kind of glad Spain have won it because they have under achieved for so long, also they we're the best team of the tournament by a fair bit in my eyes. Well done Spain.
