I’m sorry to hear about your loss shadowbreeze, when the same thing happened to me some years ago I turned to my art for comfort. With that said the sculpt you have going on looks pretty interesting, the one suggestion I would have is to vary the thickness of his head crest. Right now all of the ridges are the same size; I’d look at a walnut for reference just to get an idea of what I mean. I’m digging the burgundy wax shader look for ZB3 hopefully I’ll have some time to play with it this weekend. Keep on trucking and keep us updated!:)

Pretty interesting ShadowBreeze. You have any concepts or are you just winging it?

Sorry to hear about your loss:( Hope you will be alright.

Your new model is looking really good. The only thing that seems a bit strange is his head. His head seems to be a little too far back. Either that, or his chest is too far forward. Something is looking off between the relationship of those two.

It's nice to see you taking it easy and making a model in your spare time. Keep up the good work man:)

Marcus Dublin - thanks yeah losing yourself in your for me is the greatest thing i can do, i'm so glad i decide to make art my life career and first love, ha yes i'm single:D , they just don't understand( ex Girlfriends)
thanks for the advice i looked at walnuts, but in the end i re sculpted the whole top half. the shaders are really cool, but i have found they can be deceptive when you import them back to maxs.

yoyomon - no i'm just winging this one just to get used to Z3

FredH - thank you, yeah i know what you mean, i've been getting a bit carried away with some of the new functions such as tweak and the new way you can move different parts of the mesh and it think i went to far with the head i've started to move it forward again to see if it helps.

start on the shoulder pad.

ThatDon - thank alot, i'm really trying not to go over board with this one, but i am getting edgy and want to start texturing as i have a clear piture in my mind of what i'm going to do for that part.
