Here's small teaser: http://www.exmachina.jp/ to the Appleseed sequel "EX Machina". I was a huge fan of the books, 80's film and the remake and I can't wait to see what they have in store for the sequel!:D

I'm not holding my breath for this one. Looks better than the last, but can't tell about the animation and dialogue much from just the trailer.

Yeah the art style is a bit more cohesive and a bit more realistic than the first film. It looks like the art staff got used to the technology and the trailer reflects that so far.

I really liked the buildings in the first 1(especially the destroyed stuff), the explosions, smoke ect. where not so nice tho, i hope this more realistic flavour helps blend the smoke and other particles into it better as the arcitecture looks the same kick assness

One of my favorite animated films, I am very much looking forward to the sequels. I'm glad they kept the hyper real environment with cell shaded characters, can't wait to get it in the US

They showed how they did much of the sweet CG in the first film on the DVD extras. If you don't already own it I would highly recommend the two disk collectors set, I think anyone making games should have this in there reference collection!:)
