Armoured Soldier on horseback

I would LOVE to get some constructive crit on this thing, It's pretty much finished, so it's not really a wip, but still I'm really eager to know how to improve it.

Basically the idea of the painting is that, in the future, civilization has just deteriorated over a few hundred years into this post apocalyptic landscape because a viable alternative to oil didn't come in time, so these soldiers/mercs/nomad warriors/stufflikethat gotta move around on horseback!
A lot of technologies have become very advanced(like the armour) although the use of vehicles are very uncommon. Whatever, it's cliche and it's been done before, but it was fun!

thats looking pretty cool man, only thing id say is the horse's anatomy on the legs is a little off. specifically, where they hit the body they need to feel a little more integrated. From what I've seen the legs look a little on the long side, horses usually feel longer than they are tall, where as this horse seems taller than he is long. i like how the weight of the horse is shifting forward, it might add to the effect to lift one of his legs as if it were poised to step. nice ideas, i really like the colors and form in the background.

Awesome, thanks for the pro-crit it's really helped. The legs have given me the toughest time out of everything to make look 'right', cool now I know, I think I'm going to go and work on it more, thanks again!
