This is actually pretty cool:eek: If you press on the M's, you will see a picture of how the station looks. It's all made with real marble and real paintings. And heaven's forbid, there is no advertising:uhh:

Its actually pretty full inside all the time, especially in moscow,
when the subway comes itstays only for like 10 secs? although its cheap to drive in it, =)

as someone who live in Moscow, I say thank you for this, although I can go to any station, any day :)
but tbh these are not all subway stations, there is much more of them in Moscow, and not all of them made of marble and decorated with sculptures and paintings. The closest station I live to, used to be decorated with basic tiles and something that look like marble, but several years ago, all was replaced with metal and plastic.
Btw, all advertising is inside subway cars. Well, most of it. Less decorated stations - relatively new ones, got huge banners on the walls. I think they make more profit from tourists who makes photos of these old stations :D There is also people who enters on open stations (not underground) and sells stuff.. you know, baloons, books, flashlights.. whatever.
