Hello guys. You haven't seen me around lately due to a few reasons.

Me and the girl broke up for one so that kind of tore my heart out. Luckily a company i've been wanting to work at (alot) for quite some time now is interested in me.

Got a call earlier today for a job interview next week and i can now say i know how it feels to be happy and sad. 1 hour of happy, 1 hour of sad ;)

Anyway, Im pretty psyched about their projects and especielly the newest one they just showed. So here's to luck and my people skills!


I know it's silly but it finally feel's like me and my art has finally been accepted into this field. If they didnt like it /at least a bit) they wouldnt want to interview me... or so i hope. :)

Hope things work out with your interview. Btw, if ever they ask you how long something takes to make, just say since you have been doing 3d in your spare time, you are unable to put a clock on something you love doing. Don't give them any reasons not to like you:) Don't say, well, this particular piece took me 2 months... That would be bad. They always love asking this annoying question.

Just a thought. Don't use it now, just keep it in your bag of other responses;)

Hope things work out with you. Yeah, the fact that you got an interview means a lot. Even if you don't get this particular job, just remember that you made it this far. With just a little more prodding, I am positive you will find some work soon.

Thanks for the support guys. I think it will go pretty well. I'm pretty likable when you first meet me. Maybe not as much later (I kid i kid). ;)

Nope not in the UK vincent. It's true I wanted to go there once but this company has some really cool projects going on and I only hear good things about the company itself.

I don't know if there's any taboo in saying what company it is but i'll keep it fairly secret for now unless you guys who know the unwritten rules in this business tells me it's ok :)

I can't see the harm in it myself though :)

Hey guys. I've kept this a secret from most of the people here since I didn't want to say to much before i actually started but...

Yesterday I started working at Funcom as an environment artist (I've known this for about 1-1.5 months) and i'm extremely happy. This job is exactly what i wanted to do, what i needed and what i've always dreamed of.

In short...
This is the best time i've ever had in my life. :)

The team is great. A good bunch of people. At least the ones ive met. Vacation-times you know. Varied nationalities aswell so it's doing wonders for my english skills... right now they are having a pretty good time about my problems with saying "three". :)

Can't show you any pictures or tell you anything in detail etc of course. Secret stuff so im playing it safe.

Check the developer diarys for age of conan to check the place out. Lots of behind the scenes materials. Gametrailers.com has them. :)
