Just a small annoyance I have with the site, you never really know when you have a new pm unless you look, I think if you made the "unread" number a color besides white such as yellow like you have the private messages link next to it, and make the link the unread number it would help alot to know when you have a new pm.

email based notification is there!? plus i get a nice big popup tellin me I have a new pm aswell :D Dunno if i clicked something you didnt in the options box :S

could be my pop up blocker built into firebox. I will have to check into this I guess. I think my suggestion is still a valid one :)
