Avatar The Last Airbender Series/Season Finale

has anybody been watching this show?
Iv been following it since it came out and WOW the last 4 episodes were amazing.I love this show. The style and the animation is great, deep story and hilarious at times, especially Sokka:D

The last episodes had some awesome fighting scenes. Left some unanswered questions but overall it was great. Too bad its over . Did not expect to be as good as it was, coming from Nickelodeon.

I just liked that show because of the fire guys, they had some cool martial arts move. The ending felt a little rushed in my opinion.. Still a good show overall.

Wait a second, there ending it for good or just this season:ack:? I think the series creators did a fantastic job and the series in my opinion is right up there with the likes of Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, etc. Hopefully they'll continue the series with some DVD filler movies.:)

Yup, I heard rumors that it got canceled but that the third book was finished anyways. There are a few plot-holes so perhaps there will be something of a fourth season.. I certainly do hope so.

I think they are ending the series for good Marcus. However i think there's a movie coming out and a few 5-15 min shorts. I do agree that the ending was rather rushed in a way. I find it funny that they went through all the trouble to introduce a new character in the Boiling Rock episodes and then conveniently phase him out. This great series and one that gets all the anime fans i know saying "Finally they are starting to get it right here in the US"

mmm .. this channel started broadcasting in arabic last month but i don't watch any of its shows . :( ... mmm .. i think they haven't translate "Avatar" till now .. but i hope i can watch it as peaple here loved it :)

Is it only me who thinks the first and third season sucked big time? It was my brother who convinced me to start watching it and I really wanted to end the torture of going through the first season until finally... the water girl went up against the water master and everything started to change for the best!! (until season 3).

Thoughts on Season 3 (Spoilers, be warned!)
They loose the city and all their friends and parents and then in the next few episodes, they start making jokes as if nothing ever happened:s It was really strange how everything just went back to being a non-continuous episode.

Oh well, I agree with the above, they really touched on something great in this show. I hope they will continue it.. or at least have the writers from avatar start a new anime show because their effort to make a continuous show that was plain and simply: cool, was well received by millions. Here's hoping...

From everything I have been able to find, that was in fact the end of the series. I think there is still supposed to be a movie or something, but I am not sure.

Overall I was a big fan of the series but looking back at the last few episodes, I agree that it really did kind of fall a bit at the end.

still they did leave it open for more. I guess we will just need to wait and see

A while ago there was some rumor or something about M. Night Shamalon planning to make the Avatar movie : S

Oh god no... Anyone but M Night. Well o.k. I would rather it be him than Uwe Boll, but still. His last what, like three movies all sucked.

I just checked IMDB and they have M Night listed as directing and producing. The movie is not scheduled to be out till 2010 and is most likely part of a trilogy. I guess all we can do is hope this time he gets it right.
