well what can i say my name is david ... ok this one is obvious !
ok i love to draw ... argh ! ok mmmm i'm illustrator and conceptartiste i worked 2 years in a small compagny of games here in portugal RTS casual games! at the moment i'm working on my portofolio well a start one lol!!

Welcome to GA. this is the place to be! nice lines. i would consider pushing for refinement of your work. ink. color. it will help you to develop your lines.

your sense of control with you pencil is apparent but i think u loose some silhouette and form in the images you posted. simple shadows and mid tones would push out shapes like the armpit and mouth of the worm creature. and help to distinguish shapes from one another, like the hand from sword on Arthas.

another tool that will push your lines skill is working line variation into your set. i see you are toying with it on your worm creature. harsh thick lines outlining the arm and lat tissue would definitely push out the shape of the arm. same with the upper outline of the teeth. it would help to sell the depth of the mouth. thick outlines would help your characters pop from the page.

you ve got some great stuff man. i hope you stick around so we can see your positive evolution. help set a good example!

Oo, I really like how these greyscale pics pop out from the background. I'm interested in seeing your stuff in full color. General design is easy for the eye and you show nice variety with changing from the round shapes of the creature heads to the sharp and geometric ships. No negative feelings here :) More good stuff please!

dude, love'n this last post! Great perspective work, and the subtle hint at the "sky island culture" with the blimp... interesting. Definitely try to incorporate more of that in the scene. Little hints that say "This is our way of life up here" maybe some sails, kites, windmills

duranial: thx mate! for ur question depend from the pic, but i do with a pencil 0.5 2b, or indian ink with a pen, or pilot g-tech-c4, and lately i use moar the digital inking (gods bless ctrl-z) ^^ but in my opion is not the tool but training alot ! i fare from a very good inking but training and use alot of material to see what do u like moar ! good luck mate!

Some of your exaggerated human characters remind me of Sylvain Chomet's style. In other words, they are awesome. How do you keep you line work so clean? Do you rough sketch everything and then go back and erase your rough lines? Or are you able to just create clean lines right off the bat?

thx jajeev ^^ . for the lines depends if in a way of pure cartoon one shot line and its ok but i always do some quick reuf line before ... perapse a wip one day, not very good with words >_<!
