Hi all, this is my first post here i chose her as my character. Alien vs predator has always been one of my fave game so I hope I can redesign a new version of Linn and maybe one day there will be a AVP 2! lolz

attached r some sketches I done, my main approach is to give her a more cyborgtic feel with robotics arm and leg since they have to prepare to fight with predators after they destroyed the alien in AVP.

ya maybe i try to have the blade n arm on the same hand so she can use the blade on the other..

heres alittle bit history about her:

'A cyborg who lead the 13th Colonial Marine Corps. She is a master of

represents her soul.'

Yup i will take note of the proportions. here r few more variations i tried, it seems tat her hair is a strong feature of her so maybe i will keep it tat way..

that was such a fun game! I always played it. It got to the point where I could go to the arcades at lunch, insert one querter in, and play for one hour, beginning till end (unless some crappy player joined in and messed everything up!).

I am also liking number 3. The costume design is very nice. But, I like the armored foot of number#1. It's nice and simple, and I think it would go will with your no#3 suite, but..it's up to you:)

You are right about the hair, it really ties her into her past:thumb:

thanks for the comments, added more details to her shoulder armour and pistol which is attached behind her hip where she charges it (not with her hip! :P)

I like the idea...the looking back and the grabbing the blade and gun so close to one another seems to confuse the image and pose a bit. Her body is moving sideways to us, left to right, but her torso is completely turned around toward us and then behind...this might work, but it might be a stronger pose if she seemed to moving forward the simply grasping the knife in the other hand while the one closest to us is firing at aliens closer to us or slightly behind her...again, my take but I think the cleaning of the line that she has in her form might help show her off a bit more. My 2 cents...I really like what you've done with this design.

It's a bit strange that you made a laser bend to the alien in back, and you put the front alien's head so close to her for a gun type weapon, but these are very minor issues. She came out looking really good man! I really like her final pose, her detailed/accurate modeling sheet, and your initial sketches. Congrats on a job well done, and congrats on finishing:cool:

yah the laser thing was a last min idea, maybe it is a little distracting.. n the layout is not good, but due to time constrant n the accident of flattening my psd!..... -_-|| but glad it still turns out ok, glad u all like it :)

n The comment "Shot at 2007-07-30", think its from the imageshack where i upload my pic... but the predator spying theory sound cool! lol ;)
