That really sucks. I only recently discovered his work. His newer series with the victory gals was always something great to look forward to. What big loss.

I had the pleasure to sit next to Glen for 2 years at Raven...he was one of the main reasons I started doing freelance work. The biggest shame to me is that I think that he was only recently starting to recognize the potential he had. He had a knack to create images people latched on to and loved...it wasn't that they were even the most technically accurate, but there was something that he conveyed that people latched on to.

The suddeness of this is unreal...still hasn't sunk in. I had put off calling for awhile because of being in the final stretch of a game...now I can only kick myself for not doing it.

Glen was the guy that would say the most absurd thing just to see you react to it...it was a bit of a game to all of us I guess but he was good at it. I rarely saw him down...and he was one of the most ambitious competitors and artists I have run across in commercial art. Damn, I wish I could call him now...

wow that is really sad news. he was a great artist and a noble person. i always wanted to tell him that he was really great for contributing to autism awareness through his art. is there going to be a donation to his name through any of the art forums/websites?

EDIT: For those that want to donate, the info is here:

Thanks for sharing the link typhus.

It's a real shame he passed away. I didn't know him personally, but his art was really exceptional. Terrible loss...
