Posting Animation work?

Hey all. Im new to the site. Friends from class recommended it. I was wondering though, I notice alot of 3d art posted. Whats the best way to post animation work? I feel linking a youtube video may not be all that professional? Any thoughts? Or is this site even the right place to do that? Is there a more appropriate place?
