View Full Version : Sculpting Mini: Mud Monsters: Voting Booth Now Open!

Voting is now open for the FIRST EVER Sculpting Minicomp here on GA: Mud Monsters! Vote anytime between now and Sunday, Nov. 30th 11:59pm-ish. (http://www.gameartisans.org/contests/minis/view_entries_sculpting_1.html)

Like usual, this contest has a 'soft deadline', which means entries will continue to be submitted between now and the end of voting, with the advantage of those artists taking more time to polish their work, but at the disadvantage of possibly receiving less votes.

REMINDER ABOUT THE MINIS It's worth noting that the other two minis currently going on; the WoW Death Knight minis, have HARD deadlines, meaning you cannot submit after the deadline (this is a request by Blizzard).

Regardless, voting itself is still as easy as it's always been. Just log in with 'remember me' checked, follow the link, and place your votes today!

There were a ton of great entries, follow the link and get your vote on!

I like the sculpting challenges because you don't need to jump into many different programs you just get a base mesh and go to town.

I agree, it was really fun to be involved. Congrats everyone. Hope there are plenty more sculpting challenges. I found this one very relaxing. Just sculpt and forget about everything else.

Cheers.

Just didn't have time. I will be doing it when I do get a little bit more wiggle room. :thumb:

Awesome work guys! It's really good to see everyone jam out to this new contest.

Nice work everyone.
This one was really hard to vote for, after a few minutes I had picked my 1st and 2nd but then I spent about 10 minutes trying to decide who to vote for third. So many great quality entries.

I was thinking more in terms of Qantas Airways Australia, but hey, that works too. :p

Yeah, this sculpting comp idea turned out pretty great--I'm glad there was such a good turnout :)

I'll be getting the next one up on either sunday night or monday. Till then, there's always the Death Knight minis to keep everyone busy :)

blankslatejoe Thanks for all you have done! I am looking forward to the next.

I know nothing about WOW so I will sit those ones out. Now if you could do a Fallout 3 or Fable 2 tie in..... ;)

Maph

Fallout 3 would be kickass! Who wouldn't want to sculpt one of those spiffy looking ghouls. :D

great comp.. I really had so much fun after a long long time sculpting for whatever time I was able to do it.. hope I could finish.. :)...

I totally agree with Maph... ghouls/super mutants from fallout 3 would be great. any thing mutated from fallout 3 in fact:P

Codeman

Mutants get my vote! doesnt have to be fallout 3, but that word brings up so many images.
