man, this game is gonna be so rad. I'm pickin mine up at lunch. Talk about an alive enviro... i started with my gamma way down, to where i could barely see it, after a little, i had to turn it up.... those crazy bastards and there clown mask!

Big fan of the style, all the ambient noises really set you in the world. There are little things i have issues with... but what are ya gonna do ;) Cant wait to get to beating with my wrench!

Well I got 3 and a half hours into Bioshock and I have to say that had my 360 controller batteries not died I would still be playing, anyway so far so great! This is truly the closest experience to resident evil there is on the next gen consoles, it really feels as if they set Resident Evil in an underwater city. I have to say even though I've only played for a short amount of time Bioshock is looking like game of the year, the only knock I have against it so far is the really low poly characters. I mean the 360 is capable of throwing around huge amounts of poly's especially in a game thats as closed off as Bioshock, I'm curious as to why such a trade off was made. Anyway I'm having a blast and I can't wait to grab some new batteries so I can get back into Rapture!;)

I agree Marcus, my theory is that it's due to the several delays the game suffered during production.

Still, what matter to me is that this is one of the best games i've played in years, i hate the current state of the industry (aka sequelitis), and Bioshock is a breath of fresh air! Went out and bought the game for PC, along with a shiny new Apple Cinema HD 30'' monster, and i'm really feeling the love :lucky:
