The Half Lambert effect is great. Pixar used it on Ratatuille also, but they called it a "gummi light" (I saw their presentation at Siggraph).

I'm working on a real time shader equivalent that I could upload for all to use. If/when I do, I'll be sure to let people know.

I was really impressed with the art direction discussion of character silhouettes, color pallette choices and texture painting style.

AWESOME! Finally someone realizes that a next gen game doesn't have to be gritty reality...man that looks fun. I'm in...when does it come out. Someone watched the Incredibles...alot. Damn.

I saw their official trailer before, and I was immidiately hooked. The music, action, cutscenes, personalities, and everything, looked like it came right out the movie Incredibles by pixar.

However, there are no women characters @#$%@^@#$^%@. I find this extremely strange.

Thanks weird...your right...unless the pyro if female and horribly disfigured under the uniform...hmmmm...well, looks like room for an unlockable or downloadable character...my guess is they are holding back. But it is strange not to have at least one.
